Lindox Siegel Spotlight: Matt Hamlin

This is why we want to introduce you to our Lindox Siegel Spotlight, where we chat with one of our team. Our first spotlight is on our Regional Sales Rep for Chains and Institutions, Matt Hamlin. 
Although Matt has only been on the team for about a month, he's jumped right in. Let's learn a little more about him and see if he's on Team Blue Cheese or Team Ranch. 

What does being a Regional Sales Rep at Lindox Siegel entail?

I work directly with dealers and call on end users, in addition to working with regional and national chains. 

How did you get started in the foodservice business?

I started 25 years ago in the distribution arena for the Georgia Market

Is there one question you hear often from customers? And what's your response to it?

"Can I buy this item directly from you?" 

The answer is no, you can't, but I can introduce you to a dealer who can help you!

What time of the day do you feel most productive?

Early morning for me, between 5 am and 9 am. 

Do you have a favorite restaurant? What's your go-to order when you go there?

It's Casa Nuova. And I always get the veal parm. 

What are your favorite hobbies or interests outside of work?

Sports with my kids. 

Now, the most important questions - let's do a little this or that. Vanilla or chocolate ice cream?
